TCP Software Honored as a Bronze Stevie® Award Winner in 2022 American Business Awards®

Tcp video overlay light blue AUSTIN, TX.—June 13th, 2022— TCP Software, a leading provider of workforce management, time and labor and employee scheduling solutions, was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Re-Branding / Brand Renovation of the Year category in The 20th Annual American Business Awards®.

TCP was recognized for the rebrand and transformation of its legacy TimeClock Plus company. The seeds of the enterprise-wide re-brand came after TimeClock Plus was acquired by a private equity firm in 2019 which shifted the organization’s business goals. The brand required a refresh, which included a name change to TCP Software to align with its plans for innovation and future-oriented growth. TCP sought to simultaneously preserve its rich 30-year history as the leader in the time and attendance industry while evolving its growing suite of solutions to help companies better manage their workforces. Balancing these two goals meant creating a brand true to its origins yet modern enough to step into the broader workforce management industry.

More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. More than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.

Judges were impressed by TCP’s naming convention and validated that the new colors provide a solid transition to a more modernized brand. Additionally, they felt “the logo elements are fresh and creative reinforces a refined brand which includes the integration of the human element represented by a diverse workforce. The updated branding speaks to the product offering.”

The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Monday, June 13.

“It’s incredibly validating to receive this recognition of TCP’s rebranding efforts by Stevie judges and The American Business Awards,” said Eric Thurston, CEO of TCP Software. “Our organization has been on a massive journey since 2019 as we’ve been highly acquisitive and expanded our offering to incorporate several additional workforce management solutions. This rebrand has been central to our ongoing growth. We’ve successfully maintained our reputation for best-in-class workforce management technology while generating awareness that we support a comprehensive suite of solutions far beyond timeclocks.”
